ARCHITECT@WORK Kortrijk 2025: seminars and side events focused on thoughtful tomorrow

Publication date: 10.03.2025

On May 15 and 16, ARCHITECT@WORK will once again open its doors at Kortrijk Xpo. During this 12th edition, the theme "Thoughtful Tomorrow" will be central. How can innovations contribute to a smarter, more resilient, and more sustainable built environment? Visitor registration is now open, so make sure to secure your spot and don't miss any inspiring moments.

Lectures by (inter)national experts

The seminar program remains a key feature and offers an exciting mix of national and international speakers. Among them are Lucy Tilley (Adjaye Associates) and Dominic Wood (Studio Tim Fu), who will share innovative strategies and groundbreaking projects. Also, Herman Konings and Tom Palmaerts, two top trendwatchers, will explore the impact of technology on architecture and provide architects with insights into future designs and scenarios. In addition, the program covers various other topics, such as the role of sustainable building and strategies for simplifying the architecture profession.

Side events and exhibitions

In addition to the seminar program, several side events will be organized. Bookstore Theoria will once again present an extensive selection of professional literature, while FEBELARCH and FEBELCEM will showcase prototypes of innovative concrete use. MATERIATEK, the largest independent materials library in Belgium, will make its debut in Kortrijk with an exhibition on 'bespoke' materials, highlighting the possibilities of working with existing materials.

Art lovers can also enjoy works by Bram Lattré and Maarten Schaubroeck, and a photography exhibition by Architectuur Kortrijk will be presented.

An inspiring event

As always, networking remains an important aspect of the event. Visitors will have the chance to connect with colleagues, manufacturers, and innovations in the sector, inspired by a comprehensive selection of nearly 300 exhibitors. With the opportunity to explore, network, and exchange ideas, ARCHITECT@WORK provides the perfect occasion to discover the latest developments in the architecture and construction sector.

Practical information
