Commitment to quality pays off once again

Publication date: 18.05.2025

ARCHITECT@WORK never disappoints - and the edition in its hometown of Kortrijk, which closed its doors on Friday, May 16, was no exception. With more than 6,000 visitors over the two days - slightly more on Thursday - the event once again proved its value. Both the enthusiastic visitors and the satisfied exhibitors left the venue with wide smiles.

The success didn’t happen by chance. On one hand, the organizers stuck to their trusted formula: showcasing innovations carefully selected by a Belgian panel of specifiers, all within the unique, signature setting of ARCHITECT@WORK. The event also featured a strong seminar program, art, numerous side events, and an inspiring materials exhibition. Additionally, the focus was placed on further enhancing the quality of the visitors.

"Valuable encounters arise when the right conditions are in place," explains Exhibition Manager Anne-Laure Van de Ginste. "That’s why we are fully committed to attracting new specifiers and strengthening our network. This led to a remarkably high number of new registrations from specifiers, aligning perfectly with our recent new collaborations, partners, and engaging side events. Above all, it proves that consistently choosing quality in every aspect of your event doesn’t just sustain success, it amplifies it. Whether it sounds ambitious or not, I’m convinced we’re creating something truly unique in our field."

A successful new scenography

What made this edition particularly special was the updated layout of the familiar exhibition. The design collective C4 retained the recognizable look and feel of the original concept, but by rearranging the booths, a completely new experience was created. Rotating the booths by 31 degrees added a surprising perspective and a fresh, creative dimension to the event.
